John Dalmaris is an actuary and real‑estate investor based in Muscat, Oman. He combines more than 15 years of experience in corporate finance and investment analysis with hands‑on exposure to property acquisition and ownership in Oman and abroad.

Having personally navigated the Omani property market as a foreign buyer, John understands both the opportunities and the typical pain points international clients face – from legal structure and taxation to the practical realities of build quality, service charges and property management. He approaches every transaction with the mindset of an investor and homeowner rather than a traditional broker.

Together with his business partner Viktor, who brings deep construction and development expertise, John co‑founded Horizon Orbis to advise a small network of clients who want clear, independent guidance on purchasing property in Oman.
